NISUS GYRIX Edition

Tandem Design Crafted for Clarity and Precision

The GYRIX edition is a distinctive tandem-seat gyroplane designed entirely in-house by CNX, the creators of the refined NISUS models. It offers exceptional visibility and precise handling, making it ideal for pilots seeking both comfort and control in their flights.

Reliable Power with Efficient Performance

At its core, the GYRIX is powered by the trusted Rotax 912 ULS (100 hp) engine—a reliable, light-weight 4-stroke powerplant known for its 2,000-hour time-between-overhaul (TBO). Despite its modest output, it maintains a favorable power-to-weight ratio that ensures robust performance without compromising aircraft agility.

Balanced Capability in Flight

Fueling its performance, the GYRIX carries 60 L (15 US gal) of fuel, enabling a maximum speed of approximately 160 km/h (86 KIAS). Complementing its efficient propulsion, it offers a payload capacity of ~300 kg (661 lbs)—providing enough room for two occupants and light cargo, thereby making it a versatile option for both recreation and utility.

Kit-Build Option for Experimental Use

For enthusiasts in countries where self-build aircraft are permitted under the experimental category, the GYRIX is also available as a kit. This option allows significant cost savings by enabling the use of converted automotive or motorcycle engines, making ownership more accessible while retaining the core strengths of the design.
